Effective September 18, 2026
If someone has put footage of your child into GameTape and you did not agree to it, tell us at privacy@gametapeapp.com. Say who your child is, what you can about the video (the team, the date, who you think filmed it), and how to reach you. We will confirm that you are the parent or guardian, because handing a child's footage to whoever asks would be worse than not answering, and then we will stop the video being shown.
A parent or guardian who added a child to GameTape can remove that child, and can have anyone taken out of that child's Family — in the app, or by writing to us — at any time, without giving a reason.
If an intimate image or video of you (or one made to look like you) has been shared in GameTape without your consent, tell us at safety@gametapeapp.com, or tap Report on it in the app. Include enough to find it (where it appears, the team or the date), a statement that you are the person shown (or act for them) and that you did not consent to it being shared, and your name and signature, typed is fine.
We remove it within 48 hours of a valid request, and we take down the copies of it we can find. If the person shown is a child, we also report it to the NCMEC CyberTipline, as the law requires.
If you believe something in GameTape copies work you own, write to copyright@gametapeapp.com and include: what the work is and where it appears in GameTape, enough detail to find it; a statement that you own it or act for the owner; a statement, made in good faith, that the use is not permitted; your name, address and a way to reach you; and your physical or electronic signature. We remove infringing material, we tell the person who posted it, and we end the accounts of people who repeatedly infringe.
If something of yours was removed and you believe that was a mistake, write to the same address with the same details and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your address. We pass the counter-notice on and, if the other side does not go to court within ten business days, we can restore it.
Our designated agent for copyright notices under the DMCA is being registered with the U.S. Copyright Office. Until that listing appears, the address above is where a notice goes, and we act on it there.
Anything that sexualizes or endangers a child: see Child safety — call 911 if a child is in immediate danger, and report to the NCMEC CyberTipline and safety@gametapeapp.com. Law enforcement and legal process: see Legal requests.
Harassment, a threat, an adult who should not be in a child's Family, or anything that does not fit above: hello@gametapeapp.com. Every note or message written about a child in GameTape is visible to that child's guardian, always, and reporting a message and blocking a person are built into team chat.
